Creating a Node

Preparing a Computing Node Account

Creating a computing node requires preparing three wallet addresses: an administrator address, a rewards address, and a node address. If a user has multiple nodes, different nodes can use the same administrator address and rewards address. These two addresses can also be the same. However, for security purposes, it is recommended to separate the administrator address and the rewards address. The node address cannot be used as the administrator address or rewards address.

The node address must be unique, cannot be used as a wallet address, does not need an account balance or staking, and must be unique across the entire network with no duplicate addresses.

How to Obtain Parrot Node Deployment Authorization

First, you need to claim Parrot test tokens from the test faucet. Then, select a node type and stake a certain amount of PRT tokens. At the same time, create your node key. Be sure to keep your key safe and do not share it with others. When deploying and running the node, you will need to use this node key as the credential.

Open Parrot DApp in Browser

DApp address: https://parrotdapp.vercel.app/#/nodes

In the wallet network selection, please choose the "Ethereum Sepolia Network."

Choose Node Type

Select the type of node you want to deploy.
